· Ideal for releasing fish with Barotrauma  back to deeper water where they have a chance of recovering.

· Release weights are now mandatory equipment in some states.

·  The weight is attached to a spare line and hooked through the fishes mouth and sent back to the bottom.

· Once down a simple lift with the rod will release the fish due to the design of the weight and the weight can be wound back up.

· The wire is 3.2mm 316 stainless steel.

 All weights are approximate and will vary depending on which mould is used and the purity of the lead used.
